Panties, Undies, Knickers ...

Hello everyone, this is a short shout out to remind you that when we meet on Sunday (5th March) if you have undies to donate as part of our Panty Drive please bring them along to the volunteer morning as we will be unpacking, sorting and rolling them ready for kits.

I believe Carrefour have some good packs at good prices at the moment too.

Below is the flyer with all of the requirements. Ladies briefs size UK 10 or UK 12.

And a HUGE thank you to those of you have donated already, your kindness and generosity is well appreciated.

See you all on Sunday ;-)

Wow, talk about productive, this morning was super charged! Our prep day for this Sunday's Volunteer morning was lots of fun and lots of work.

Thank you ladies for coming along and Harsha sorry we took the pic after you left :-( .

Thanks for stopping by and remember we are meeting on Sunday ;-)

Zero Waste is a GREAT thing to have.

I wanted to share that we are very proud that we have ZERO wastage now from our cottons. Once they come off the die-cutter then we cut out what can be used for pockets. Then any useable pieces are kept for Hebah who makes them into lovely little quilts / rugs for children less fortunate (and some Mug Mats too) and THEN the final scraps are being used by Lisa to stuff cat beds that are then sold at craft fairs and the proceeds come back to us to buy more fabric ;-) Same goes for the bags. Our PUL scraps also go into the cat beds.

Love these ladies! Here are a few rugs and mats made with some of our DfG offcuts.

Thanks for stopping by ...

I am dead on my feet after such a busy morning and thank you to all the ladies for making sure I went from one side of the room to the other repeatedly, I got in over 8000 steps ;-) .

PANTY DRIVE

If you were at the last Volunteer Morning you would know that we had a little giggle over the meaning of "panty drive", and I assured everyone that it did not mean that we were taking to the streets of Muscat driving around in our panties to support DfG!!! (Oh dear what a thought).

BUT here it is, this month we are having a PANTY DRIVE.

We are in need of women's full brief underwear. All the details are on the flyer.

If you would like a PDF copy to share please contact me.

Thanks all, and I hope to see you TOMORROW at the VOLUNTEER MORNING.

Volunteer Day Tomorrow

Hello all, my sincerest apologies in not keeping the blog up to date. Our main source of communication is Facebook but I am endeavouring to get another volunteer to assist me with Social Media and that should resolve our delay issues.

We had a wonderful Volunteer Day this month and we packed 170 kits! Woo-hoo it was fantastic.

The attempt at a serious photo ...

But that is just not us, so we acted normal ...!!!!

We also had a prep day last week so that we had enough raw components to give out and sew on our volunteer TOMORROW!

Please come along if you have some time, even if it is just for half an hour to see what we are all about.

Thank you for all your support.
